DESCRIPTION: The hand built pottery class will allow students ages 16 and older to create functional objects of a pinch pot and a simple box. Tools will be used to carve as well as create designs to add creativity. The students will pick their glazes, and the instructors will paint the projects, which will then be fired in the kiln. When completed in the kiln, the ceramic projects will then be returned to the students for pick up after being sealed with a beautiful glaze. All supplies provided. COST: $25. INSTRUCTORS: Claire Rhoads and Julia Mummau.
NOTES:
Plan to attend all 3 classes in order to complete projects.
Join us for a short Art Show at 7:30pm in the upstairs church Sanctuary. Class projects will then be on display throughout the church. An Ice Cream Social will be available in the church Fellowship Hall (basement). Ends at 8:30pm. Bring family and
friends.
