DESCRIPTION: This class will teach you to how to needle felt a picture using wool roving, and pre-felted wool fabric. Come discover a new art medium! Wool has been used through the centuries because it is a natural fiber that is warm, wicking, nonflammable and repels dirt and odors. In this class, you will create a picture that be framed. Basics of needle felting will be shared and students will also have the opportunity to try simple 3-D needle felting techniques and explore ways to embellish wool garments. All supplies provided. COST: $30. INSTRUCTOR: Kate Gandy.
NOTES:
Plan to attend all 3 classes in order to complete projects.
Join us for a short Art Show at 7:30pm in the upstairs church Sanctuary. Class projects will then be on display throughout the church. An Ice Cream Social will be available in the church Fellowship Hall (basement). Ends at 8:30pm. Bring family and
friends.
