Wool Felting Class Ages: 13-99
Saturday, February 10, 10:00am – 3:00pm

At: Lost Creek Mennonite Church, 2682 Long Rd, Mifflintown
DESCRIPTION: This class will teach you to make decorative and useful items with wool, soap, and water. Wool has been used through the centuries because it is a warm, wicking, nonflammable fiber that repels dirt and odors. Come discover a new art medium! In this wet-felting class, you will make a flat, square picture that can either be framed or used as a decorative trivet. You will also make a small trinket bowl. All supplies provided. INSTRUCTOR: Kate Gandy.
BRING: A packed lunch and a labeled water bottle. Please LABEL all items you bring.
NOTES:
Plan to join us for a short Program, Show & Social from 2:30pm-3:00pm in the church Fellowship Hall (basement) where artwork will be on display from all the classes. DO NOT REMOVE YOUR ARTWORK BEFORE 3:00pm. Thank you.
