2022 Yo-Yo Piecing: A Blast From the Past Class, Ages 13 - Adult
June 20-22, 6:30pm-8:30pm
Lost Creek Mennonite Church, 2682 Long Rd, Mifflintown
DESCRIPTION: Learn to cut, stitch, and piece yo-yo rosettes into decorative and useful items. Yo-yo piecing was popular in the 1920-40s, especially during the Great Depression, because it was a way to make use of fabric scraps. This blast from the past has enjoyed a resurgence of interest in recent years and can be a way to reuse and recycle fabric. $20 for all 3 days. Ages 13 – adult. Instructor: Kate Gandy.
NOTES:
Plan to join us for some a short fun program and art show Wednesday evening, June 22, 7:30pm.
LIMITED SEATING!
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 13. If you do not show up, please consider your registration fee a donation toward the food and supplies that were ready for you. Lost Creek Mennonite Church strives to be a safe church and all instructors and assistants for children and teen classes have completed a Criminal Record and Child Abuse Check.
